Nest - Tote Bags/developing skills

Erin had a tote bag emergency meaning she needed 50 tote bags printed the day before the launch. This was quite daunting to me as i had never done that many prints from one screen before and also i had never printed onto fabric before.

It wasn't all that different to printing on paper but it was quite a lot slower. A lot of time was spent pining down the totebags down to the table and making sure there were no creases before pulling through the ink. There was a bit of trial and error at the beginning but in the end we got a lot better and a lot quicker and printing them. It definitely gave me a lot of experience with the ways in which fabric doesn't print the same as paper, and i feel like i learnt a different aspect of screen printing which is a plus!
